But when I try to run the report, it gives me error. There I am unable to connect to the Reporting Services. I am getting a very long error message. Giving below few lines which made sense to me. Thanks, Tejaswini. We have created and scheduled some test reports via Idera performance tool but we are unable to delete the reports. These are not custom reports and reports created with Schedule Email option in Idera.
Unfortunately, I dera does not have any option to delete these reports and support is asking me if I tried this by deleting from SQL Server Reporting Services. I looked at the Reporting services but can't find any place to delete these reports. Can I delete them from some tables in Reports databases?.
If so, what are the tables?. I delete the jobs from SQL Server but the jobs are automatically created the next day emailing the reports again..
Hi , i'm a new to vista and also with sql server reporting services.. For Reporting printing, it should facilitate reports' data logging process. I am having SQL query which has inner join table from another Database.
The below highlighted query shows its values. RuleRowId [code] I am looking to get the value of VCPU from all 4 clouds above. We have a request to build a report based on user input from an excel spreadsheet. This is run by a sql server agent job. Our stored procedure executes this job and runs this whole process just fine but when we execute the stored procedure from reporting services we get errors.
Has anyone done this type of thing before and do you have any working solutions for how to get this reporting methodology to function? Both server are configured separately with their own Report Server database.
Now I want to configured a scale out deployment with a shared database. On Server 1, I created a new Report Server database. On the second server, I change the database and joined the existing database. The problem is that the second server never shows up under Scale-Out deployment Waiting to Join. If i click 'View Designer', it prompts me like " Do you want to close? Make sure the application for the file type.
I am trying to configure a reporting server on my laptop at work. This laptop is running Vista and IIS 7. When I install reporting services, the option for "Install the default configuration" is disabled greyed out during setup. The install is successful, but then when I try to connect in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager, I get an unhandled exception "A WMI error has occurred an no additional error information is available. Add a comment. Hope this helps someone. This is the only solution that worked for me, thanks.

Error: Instance name exceeds maximum length Aborting Initialization The instance name is 20 char long. Please let me know if there is any workaround. Thanks in advance. I have created this as a named instance and can connect to it by serverinstance if I'm on the server itself. However from my desktop I get the error saying instance was not found on server name.
I have defined an alternate port and setup firewall rules and can connect via server:port but not serverinstance. Prior to making this change SSAS was running on default port of and I could connect just by servername. I have read many articles for previous versions saying that clustered SSAS will always use and that you must connect just using servername. However and this is were it gets strange. Should I be able to connect as serverinstances for a named clustered instance in ?

Hello Friends I'm running VSprof. Its been running without problems since installation April A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. Here's the error log: This is an informational message only; no user action is required. This is an informational message only. No user action is required. This is an informational message; no user action is required. Initial allocation of Lock blocks and Lock Owner blocks per node.
To determine the cause, review the errors immediately preceding this one in the error log. Check the SQL Server error log and the Windows event logs for information about possible related problems. Shoud I uninstall and re-install SSE and if so is there a specific step by step step procedure I can follow. Or is there a sure fire way to fix the probelm without re-installation?
Your help is greatly appreciated. Recently we rebuilt one of the cluster node due to some issues with SP , where distribution agent resource or instance was running after rebuilding that node, we failed over distribution resource to that newly built node and after that log reader agent jobs were in suspended status.
After checking the job history, we got the below error "Unable to start execution of step 2 reason: The LogReader subsystem failed to load [see the file for details]; The job has been suspended. The step failed. I have a SQL 2k5 ent.
The sql server was running fine under localsystem account. Recently I changed the service account to a local user part of users group in windows and implemented permissions according to KB article However, the SQL services are not starting up and I am seeing the following errors in the errorlog.
I understand this is some permission issue. Just not able to find it out. Can anybody help? Enable failed for audit error , for more information see sql Server error log. I thought I would post how I got remote t-sql debugging working in my environment. Hope it might help someone. I have two domains, DomainA and DomainB. DomainB has a one way external trust to DomainA. When trying to 'step into stored procedure' in VS, whether my data connection used windows authentication or sql server authentication, I would get the 'Unable to start T-SQL degbuggin I could debug t-sql when I logged into the domain controller console or rdp and running VS on the server.
